Sunday, February 9th, 1890
Quite cold and clear. I am
feeling very stiff and old today.
Charley & Willie drove down the
turn pike & C saw a number of sick.
Bro R called on way to meeting &
left Fanny until he went home.
Afternoon Willie took Dora up to
Edwd Peirce's to tea. C went down
to [Danseys] to attend a [momdib] in
confinement and afterwards over
to Riverside to tea. Lizzie Iddings
(who is making a visit to [Shumor])
together with Francis & Nora Stabler
called here. I went in next door
to get some medicine I was out of.
I prescribed and put up medicine
for Lizzie whilst she was here.

Monday, February 10th, 1890
Clear and cold. I felt unwell
being very sore & stiff with some
head ache. C drove down to see the
sick below Ashton Willie going with
him. Remus Hill Sr: was here and
paid his bill. Afternoon I drove
down to Ashton for groceries etc
Phil Robison going with me. I went
[drecos] again Edward going with me
Willie took Edward to [ ..................
....................................................]
home at dusk to stay to night and
go to Washington tomorrow with
Ernest. Philip T. Stabler called
about supper time to settle Lizzie
Hurdesty's bill. I gave him a receipt
and he credited it on his account
for wood delivered in 1887 since
his settlement with Charley in which
C gave him a note.
