Trying to clear off this a.m.
the sun shone out about 10.oclk.
Alice & Fanny Peirce came to
spend the day. Rev: Valentine
called for advice & med: for
his wife. Afternoon Branson
Cook brought his infant daughter
to the office with an ugly
deep cut in its left cheek
requiring two sutures & some
adhesive strips dressing etc.
Alice & Fanny left for home at
about 3.15 p.m. The wind
came out from the N.W. with rain
and a strong blow on gale
which only last about an hour.
After supper Chas Hill was here
to see Charley & also Arthur
Edwards. Annie Rounds Budd was
here to have a tooth extracted
after dark.

Charley started after early
breakfast to go to Dr. "Grau": Stone's
to [ ] operate upon G "Matt"
[ B 's } child's throat. Bro Richds
came by after meeting. After noon
[ ] Johnson was here to see me.
Wm Johnson (Lydia's son) was here for
advice & medicine for his little boy.
Owen Hardy Jr: brought a note for
Charley from Mrs Hardy. Sarah
Jane Powell was here for advice &
medicine. Fanny Peirce called
& took Dora back with her to church.
Edward went with Miss M Fowler
to the church at Ashton to play
on the organ for them at the "Band
of Hope." Willie took my buggy &
the "Bessie" mare & drove up to the
Brighton church to bring his sister
home.
