Ther 46 Clearing Wind N.W.
Oct 9th Friday
Willie started early (with "Fritz"
and the road cart) to Carr's to gather
apples again "on shares" with T. J. Lea,
who bought the apples in the orchard
at public sale. Ida and Dora went to
Edwd: Peince's to spend the day. I walked
down to Ashton to see Mrs [Sut].
Dora & Ida came home at dusk.
Fanny Peince also came & after
supper Willie drove her to Olney
Lodge of "Good Templars" using
E Peinces horse & carriage. The
weather is much cooler & there
will probably be heavy frost
tonight for the first this autumn.
