Still another lovely winter day.
I drove down to see Chas Stabler
again and on to Char: Howard's (on
John Thomas's place) to prescribe
for Susan Linn (Howard's mother in law)
Edwd wemt with me. Willie rode
bicycle to Mechanicsville church.
Afternoon Willie & Dora went over
to Edwd Peirce's (in the cart) intending
to go with some of them to gather
evergreens with which to decorate
the church for Christmas. They remained
there to tea & [spend] the evening to
come home by moon light.

Dec: 14th Monday
I was called up last night soon after
retiring and drove over to see Mrs
R Roland Moore Jr: after prescribing
for her I drove home reaching here at
about 1.oclock this a.m., and soon after
was called up again to go to Bill
Oldfields [whoes] wife was confined
the child (a girl) was born before I
reached the house but was still
attached by the "cord." I got through &
came home again about 3-3 o. a.m.
I ate a late breakfast & drove over to
see Mrs. Moore again, calling again
to see Mrs Oldfield. From Moores I
drove across to Chas: Howard's to see
Susan Linn again. Willie went with
me. We got home at 2.oclock pm.
Mr: Hannah agent for the Saratoga
N. Y. manufacturing chemist was here.
Dr. Brooke called. Also Rev: Brooks
was here for advice & medicine.

Had difficultly distinguishing the Moores' name...looked like Moones on this page so it was changed
after seeing the name more clearly on the next page.
