Rainy day. I walked down to
Ashton to see Mr M K Evans
about 9 o'clk this morning. It
rained all day. We had an
extremely quiet day at home
no caller s. Ground was covered
with sleet until afternoon, when
it grew wamer and melted
making it quite "sloppy".
