Friday Aug. 6,th 1897.

Willie came in Dr Stabler's
spring wagon, & got "Old John" to
hitch his horse to it. (W taking
my buggy) they went to Rockville
for another loom W. had ordered
a "fly shuttle loom"; they left here
about 9.o'clk a.m. & were back
here by 3 - p.m. Herbert dined
with us and went to "Atholwood"
about 5.o'clk p.m. expecting to
go from there to "Riverside" to
spend the night.

Saturday Aug. 7,th 1897.

Old Mary Ann Drayton was here for
advice & medicine before breakfast.
Edwd took sister H to "Riverside" to make
a visit, and drove on to "Fairfield" to spend
the day. Herbert came & left his bicycle
here & went to Laurel & Baltimore with
"Ernest". I walked to Ashton & paid Chas.
G Porter $25.00. Called at the store.

Isaac Hartshorne came after me and
brought me home to examine H. T. Lea
for Insurance in the Penn Mutual Co
of Philada. Cousin H P Chandlee came
to spend the day with us. Edwd
returned from "Fairfield" about
4 - 30 and took cousin Hannah
home, before supper. We had a
called meeting of the Trustees of
our public School at my office
this afternoon to discuss the
building of the new School house.

Willie, Fanny & the baby came
just after supper, to spend the
night.
