Tuesday Aug. 10, 1897.

I went to see Warwick Stabler
and also Mrs John Oldfield.
Mr Maddox (County Surveyor)
with another gentleman from
Rockville came about 11-30
this morning to survey the School
House lot. I went with them
and we found the lines, as laid
down in the deed) altogather
unsatesfactory. Went again
to see Warwick Stabler
towards evening. After dark
there came up a thunder gust
that was one of the most severe
electric storms we have had
for a long time. I have felt very
miserable all day, but managed
to keep up & attended to considerable
business of different kinds, including
professional work &c Edwd
Taylor was here to see me about
building the new School House.

Wednesday Aug. 11,th 1897.

Went over next door & telephoned to
Dr Brooke, asking if he could loan
me a trocar & canula & also a small
catheter. Went to see War'k Stabler
called to see Mrs Oldfield.

Afternoon Asa Stabler called to
see me about Warwick. After
supper went again to see War'k,
& telephoned to Asa. Edwd went
to "Sharon" after supper on his
bicycle.
