Ther. SUN. FEB. 27^th, 1898 Wind

Clear & bright. Willie took me
to "Riverside" & took Jimmy Jackson
from there to "Eldon" & Fairfield
leaving me to walk home. I called
at "Eldon" & took dinner there
before walking home. Willie
brought Jimmy Jackson here
to supper & to spend the night.
Brother Charley is extremely weak
and low. he cannot be with us
much longer. and when the end
comes it will be a happy release
to him from suffering.

Willie drove to "Fairfield" after
Breakfast. Jimmy Jackson & I
walked down to "Bloomfield." I
came home to lunch & Jim staid
there to dinner & came back in
time to take the 2 o'clock stage
for Laurel & home. Afternoon
Edwd drove to "Fairfield," & came
home to supper & to spend the night,
having left Fanny & the baby
here where he left this morning.
Alcinda Thomas was here for
advice & medicine for herself.
this afternoon Mrs. Robison
came in for advice & medicine
for "Phil" I went to the store & P.O.
also to the mill for corn meal.
