Cloudy & threatening
Tuesday May 16th
Suffered all day with headache.
Went to the P.O. morning
and afternoon. Towards
evening a thunder gust passed
north of us, and soon after
another came up which seemed
to come right for us, but
did not amount to much.

Cloudy & Rain.
Wednesday May 17th
Cloudy & threatening all day.
I felt quite unwell and took
some medicine during last night
and this morning. John Thomas
called as he went home from
meeting. I went to the store and
to Fairall's. We recd a nice letter
from Edwd. who seems satisfied
so far with his position. Afternoon
quite a heavy wind storm
passed north of us, and it is
still raining & threatening at bedtime.
