61 Cloudy & Clearing S.E.
Ther. MON. OCT. 9th, 1899. Wind
Cloudy & threatening rain all
the forenoon but towards evening
it cleared off. I wrote postal
cards to each of the members
of the "Physicians' Social Club"
reminding that it meets here on
Friday next and inviting all
to attend. After supper I
went to Fairall's office and
cut Edwd's hair.

61 [degrees] Clear
Ther. TUES. OCT. 10th, 1899. Wind
This has been a charming
autumn day. Quite warm
most of the time. I took Esq.
Fairall's horse and my phaeton
and took Edward up to Olney
to be registered as a voter
in this district. Dr: W H Hardy
of Howard Co died this
morning, he was upwards
of 80 years old. I went to
the village several times,
and also to the mill for
flour. Edwd Taylor brought
us another sack of potatoes.
Willie was here this morning
and went to the store
for us, and did several
little turns for us.
