1st. mo. 3d. 3d. day Bright and cold: Joe and Henry at Uncle Samuels [ J?] pond helping cut ice: I [?] to the "Aid meeting" in the afternoon; Lucy came there from Sarah Stone's, she called at Melrose in the morning; We met in the Bank room because they are painting the Lyceum.

4th. 4th day Cold; clear all morning, clouded up in the afternon, begun to snow after dark; Joe and I at meeting; I went to Sherwood from meeting; the men [?] the after [right side and bottom of the page torn]

1st mo. 5th. 5th day Cloudy all day, snowed most of the day; Frank and Charlie here helping haul ice.
6th. 6th day Cloudy all day, with some fog and some rain making sleet; Uncle Samuel and Aunt Lizzie called in the afternoon.
7th. 7th day Bright and mild; everything covered with sleet, when the sun came out it looked beautiful. Anna Gilpin here in the morning.

9th. 2d. day Cloudy and foggy early morning, cleared off mild before 10 o'clock; I spent the day at Ingleside; Lucy at Harewood awhile in the afternoon.
10th. 3d.day Bright early morning, clouded up before noon some little rain in the afternoon rained fast after night and formed sleet; William and M. E. Moore here to tea; Uncle William, Aunt R. and

11th. 4th.day Cloudy-foggy morning, with heavy sleet; cleared off by noon; Joe and I at meeting; Lucy at Harewood awhile in the afternoon; I met the Elder committee before meeting.
12th. 5th.day Bright until afternoon, then clouded up. The "Farmers Convention" met; Hannah Stabler and little Florence, and Pattie spent the day here.
