1st Ques Will hens lay well in winter, fed on corn alone,
Not so well as with mixed food

and buy bacon, about equally divided, some thought
bacon would be high.
3rd What is the allowance of wood to hands, per year
From 8 to 9 cords
4th One ofour guests wish to know the number of hands
kept in winter in proportion to the number of acres in
cultivation. The member with 240 acres had two hands
and the one with only 60 acres had two, the average
being one hand to every 50 acres.
5th What should be the money rent per acre for
a farm of 200 acres, in good condition.
Nine say 2.00 per acre, 3 say 1.50 and 3 say 2.50 & one 1.75
6th How can I feed hay at home profitably.
Five say to milk cows, three to young cattle, 3 to beef
and three to sheep.
7th What was the amount of pork rased by the members
of the club last year, and the number of hogs,
