3/Ques - What fertilizer shall I use for potatoes & when
to plant,
Ans - 600⁰⁰ Drs Sle & plant in June, though
several have planted early this year, perhaps
one half of the members.

4/Ques - What do you do for your tenants gardens
Ans - Most give from 1/8 to 1/2 acre & store
manure & team to plow with.

5/Ques - Will it do to mix hen manure and Dr's
Sle before using
Ans - No

6/Ques - Will rye pastured to this date (May 7) be
worth anything for a crop.
Ans - Most think it will make a fair crop

The Enterprise Club was called to order later
than usual as many of our members were slow
to arrive. PT Stabler Arthur Stabler BH
Miller & RB Farquhar were absent. Plummer
Waters & Mortimer A Stabler were with us at
this meeting.

After reading the minutes of the
last meeting held here we started for an old [ashio]
long walk.

The corn field was found to be in
fine condition: our host has numerous long and
carefully made drains to convey. The water from
the hill portions of the farm. The wheat was
good for this year. A smooth wire fence we were
told has answered a good purpose. In the orchard
we found more fruit than can be found in most
places. The trees showed good care had been grown them.
On returning to the house the minutes for the last
meeting were read & approved. After supper the
