After supper the minutes of the last meeting were
read & approved. The following questions were then
asked and answered.

1. Ques. P.L. Stabler wishes to know what to do with his
Ice House?
Ans All would make the house from 18 to 20 feet
deep & either [cine] with poles or put in a wall,

2/ Ques How much wheat will you sow pr acre this year?
Ans Nearly every one will use 1 1/2 Bus pr acre.

3. Ques If ready would you sow wheat Sep 25^th ?
Ans Most prefer to wait until after Oct 1^st.
a few would sow at once.

4. Ques What is a good colt 5mos old worth?
Ans From $25. to $30.

5. Ques What fertilizer do you use for wheat this Fall?
Ans A majority of those present will use Rock alone
a few will use orchilla & its compounds.

6. Ques What will your corn average this year?
Ans 7 say 6 Barrels 2 say 5 Blrs, 2 say 7 Barrels
3 say 8 Blrs & one says 9 Barrels.

7 Ques. Will it pay to put Rock in in the
fall for corn next year?
Ans This question caused much discusion
among those present.

We were told Joseph Stabler has for several
years followed this course with much
succses.

8 Ques. What is the best method for keeping
onion sets?
Ans Keep in an out house but cover slightly?

9 Ques. Will you sow as much wheat or rye
as usual this year?
Ans Not much change in quantity.

10 Ques. Do Potatoes get more scabby after they
are done growing.
Ans We could get no light on the
subject
