Putting straw on McCormick
potatoes was not thought
to be a satisfactory
method for Arthur
Stabler to adopt.

Asa Stabler is told that
the best was to get his
corn field in grass is to sow
with rye and pasture,
J.J. Lea would sow the grass
alone.

John Thomas spoke of the
unusual rapidly with
which potatoe vines died
off this year.

The first of August was thought
to be the proper season for
Will Thomas to
sow his C.C.

R.H. Miller asks if a tennant should
give some extra remuneration
for keeping 8 cows which will
be fed the tennants grain but
the landlords fodder. A
hard question to answer
reasonably but several thought
that some compensation
was due the landlord above
the previous agreement.
