R.B. Thomas speaks of the need
of an organization to clear
the pike of snow in winter.
It was thoguht wise to appoint
a committee consisting of
Chas E. Bond, Newton Stabler
and Wm Cambry to take the
matter in hand confer with
other clubs and report to some
future meeting.
The Club believed that N. Stabler
was bound to his contract to
furnish the Laurel cannery
with the product from two
acres of sweet corn provided
they were ready for it at
the time of maturity. If not
he was advised to sell on
the Washington market.
Most of the members advised M.
Farquhar to commence feeding
stress new corn right away.
Albert Stabler is told to turn the
heads of broom cow down as
soon as they have obtained the
proper growth. Some yews
he has for sale were placed
at $ 6 1/2 per head.
