E. C. Thomas reported on some government
experiments with grass fed hogs. The
costs of gain is as high as grain fed hogs.
It takes longer & the hogs are less valuable

O. N. Stabler asked how many had done
any gardening. Only 5 or 6 had

H. Miller was told to use acid phosphate
on his lawn.

J. N. Bentley is seeding his place to blue grass
How much land is needed for each steer?
2 to 3 acres per steer.

T. A. Barnsley. Can I pasture a barley field
now? To do it now would damage the
crop.

P.G. Ligon: Will the reforestation work by the
unemployed be done on private land?
Only in national & state forests

A. Stabler. Should I dry feed my cattle this summer,
or turn on pasture with grain?

Wm Moore asked about the farm relief bill
Rueben Brigham, who is in the Department
of agriculture said its chief hope is its
flexibility, but the Secretary of agriculture
has a difficult job administrating it
