Questions -

G. R. CANBY seeded part of an old orchard to alfalfa. He has
a good set of alfalfa but also a lot of cress. Can he harvest early
enough to get the cress before it seeds without hurting the alfalfa? Yes,
if he lets the alfalfa bloom thoroughly before its second cutting.

T. A. BARNSLEY - Can a farmer afford to pay 30 cents for stock
cattle at this time? Most would not be willing to pay that much.

ALBERT STABLER, JR. - Asked whether the Club was in favor of a
tax on margerine. There was some discussion but no vote taken.

L. S. WESLEY has two pure bred Angus heifers he will sell for
30 cents lb. They are part of a lot being conditioned for a breeders
sale and are in good condition. Should he continue to feed or sell now?
Sell now.

L. S. WESLEY - Has a 25 acre field of rough ground. 20 acres
have been seeded to oats. Is it too late to seed the rest? Soybeans
might be better.
