The Secretary also read a letter from W. A. Stanton saying he
was leaving the neighborhood tendering his resignation from the Club.
This resignation was accepted with regret and the Secretary was instructed
to write Mr. Stanton.
The next order of business was election of officers. Since
there was no active opposition the same two officers, namely, Wm. M.
Moore, President and S. P. Stabler, Secretary, were re-elected. F. S.
Gilpin collected Thirteen Dollars ($13.00) towards the Secretary's salary.
P. G. Ligon reported on the Library and asked all members to
join. L. S. Wesley was appointed to represent the Club on the Library
Committee. A recess was declared and membership fee was collected from
those wishing to contribute.
The membership committee of the Club was asked to meet concerning
our vacancy and to make a report at our July meeting.

It was noted that one steer that sold locally for thirty four
cents a pound on the farm. A Holstein bull weighed 1800 lbs. had sold
for twenty eight cents a pound bringing over $500.00

second cutting alfalfa hay to be picked up behind the baler. $25.00 ton.
ALBERT STABLER, JR. - Asked what to pay for Ladino and timothy
hay standing in the field? $7.00 to $11.00 per acre.
DR. HENDRY - Asked when to buy straw and what should be the
