chips, which included an anonymous essay to the
H. I. which convinced us that there were no
grounds for the various assertions of inability
to compose _ wont some one try it again,
and let us prove ourselves to be the most
able society in the neighbourhood _

112th Meeting

The 112th Meeting of the Home Interest met
at the house of Philip T. Stabler and on May
5th 1880. Eighteen members being present with
the addition of six guests.

Wm S. Bond acted as foreman _ The minutes
of the last meeting at this house having
been read, we made the tour of the grounds, &
found all in excellent order _ in fact we found
nothing out of order, we do not know where they
concealed all the disfiguring objects such as
wood pile and all the other paraphernalia
belonging to a kitchen, which with some of us
are painfully apparent. We know of one and
