For fifteen years the "Home Interest has
met and prospered, without any recorses
by the hand of death, but it is now our
sad duty to chronicle the loss of our sister
Anna L. Moore, one of our most esteemed
members, in consequence of which the
Nov Meeting of the "Home Interest" was
omitted. On Dec 14th we met at
Bloomfield. At first our members
indicated a small meeting, some of
the members being absent, but as the
evening advanced they increased, until
we had the usual attendance, a
number of pleasant visitors swelling
the list, among whom was our loved
and venerable friend Mary L. Roberts.
This being the time for the annual
election of Officers. John Thomas was
re-elected President and Cornelia
N. Stabler appointed Sect.

The following questions were then discussed.
1st What is the best way to train English Ivy to a stone chimney?
Ans Drive wooden wedges in the wall, and tack to them.

2nd Should Rose bushes be trimmed in the Fall?
Yes Gardeners cut to within a foot of the ground.

3rd Is it possible for water, to heat the pipes
