Walter H. Brooke, was made foreman
and after reading the minutes of
last meeting & last one at this
house the following questions were
asked -

1^st. How to sweeten rancid lard?
Let it boil & put in a little sage
is said to answer the purpose, or
use sliced raw potatoes instead.

2^nd. Will it be worth while to try to
bring frozen plants to life?
Yes: either break of the tops & let
them pick up from the root or put
in a cellar & water occasionally.

3^rd. What must be done to keep
lamp chimneys from breaking.
No satisfactory answer.

4th. What to do with Roaches and
are they any use.
Sprinkle [ ? ] wafers around where
they are; put arsenic in mashed potato
