which had been cut off early in the
season for the table and the stalks left
growing some of which had four and
others five heads, each one as large
as the original one had been. The
flowers were beautiful and the display
of Fuschia's and plants of ornamen-
tal foliage and geraniums was
splendid. The Fuschias in partic-
ular have never been equalled in
the neighborhood.
The rest of the evening was taken
up with discussions concerning the
coming exhibition, which we hope
will not be failure, the dry weath-
er making us feel anxious
