A clipping from the "Tenessee Farmer"
was read, against cropping orchards.
The grass was considered to do more good
than would be got from any crop raised.
Some of our members say it was a good
plan, to let hogs run in orchards.

In our walk we noticed the early
vegetables up and raspberries pruned
and tied up and all in order.
Salsify remarkable good, hotbeds
looking well and flower beds
dressed and many plants blooming.
