On this day our Society assembled to
to hold its first meeting for this year
It was a large and delightful meet
ing, the only absent members were those
from Springdale and Rock Spring and
our guests were Richard and Edith
Bentley and their sister R. A. McPherson
Mr and Mrs Z. D. Waters Captain and
Mrs. Jouett, Eliza Brooke Lottie Pleasants,
Frederic and Pattie Stabler Carrie

The display of flowers was re
-markably fine for April. from Ava
-lon a handsome variety of hyacinths
from Sharon a large tomato plant
and flowers from house and gar-
-den, from Pattie Stabler a bouquet of
Geraniums, from White Hall, flowers
and plants of beet lettuce tomato and
corn. Mrs. Waters elegant flowers
from her pit. Eliza Brooke Gilly flowers
very double and very fragrant
Alloway, Stanmore and Norwood
fine flowers. from Longwood
Radishes ready for the table, beets
flowers from conservatory and garden
from Olney and Riverside flowers from
the garden and from Hermon lettuce
