1 What shall be done with a Heliotrope
which bloomed all winter to make
it bloom next winter? Keep it in
the pot and plunge the pot in the
earth

2 What shall be done with an asparagus
bed which is very large
but scattering? Mark the vacant
spots with stakes and next
spring fill with plants

3 A fine row of beets cut off with
the ground. What would destroy
them? Possibly a rabbit

4 Is it necessary to paint the stump
where large limbs are cut off
of fruit trees. Yes paint thoroughly

5 Any experience with self raised
chickens. A hen died leaving 19
