1 How apply Paris Green to cabbage? Mix
with plaster and apply as for potatoes in
the proportion of 1 to 100, and do not put
on cabbage after the head is formed

2 Will it do to plant out a small Arbor
Vitae raised from a cutting now? Yes

3 Has any one been successful in treating
black specks on Roses? Trim and fertilize
to give a fresh growth and they
will be free from black specks, or if
they are caused by a slug at the
root, dig up and remove the slug

4 Is there any advantage in using
purple powder instead of Paris Green? No.

5 How much is it necessary to water
celery? Water every two or three days
and thoroughly when you do it.

6 Is any one troubled with a worm piercing
the cabbage stalk? No

7 Is it too late to plant celery now. No

8 What fertilizer is best for celery?
Well rotted stable or hog-pen manure
