Samuel Hopkins described some very large
trees in Matthew Co. Va. he saw in a recent visit
The gardeners there were shipping new potatoes
in May. Our President reminds us to take notes in
occurances, for the benefit of the "Stay-at Homes."
of whom, there are still a few among us!

Our walk in the garden was enjoyed and
the guests who had been to the Wedding, arriving
at this time, added new beauties to the
scene and "How did she look? What was
her dress etc. gave diversity to the usual
questions at our meetings. The President
reports the vegetable garden in good order
and growing well.
