H/4/1892-6.

Complaints were made that [salsify]
had failed last season from unknown
causes

The secretary brought seeds of the
tea plant for distribution.

In our walk we found the
flower garden looking neat but it
was too early to have plants set out
the hot beds looked well.

The poultry was thriving and a
building devoted to young chickens
was a good thing, the coops
with little yards around them
were admired; they keep each
brood with its mother and safe
from cross hens
