A bright day but a strong, cold
wind prevented us from enthusing over
the arrival of Spring and made the
bright fires most welcome - Our President
expressed our feeling in a
few words? "After a recess of five
months we are thankful to meet
again with no more gaps in
circle.

The by-laws and resolutions were
read and a few alterations made.
Then came the election of officers to
serve for two years. This took but
a short time, the votes being unanimous
for Roger Farquhar President
John C. Bentley vice President E S Iddings
Secretary. Our host, most kindly
declared himself highly gratified
by the result of the elections. We
find intimidation and compulsory
elections far superior to the usual
methods or Australian ballots
