likely to do any good.

4 Break or cut asparagus? Most - cut it.
5 How plant tomatoes? Some fertilize with
farm yard or hen house manure. Others
use no fertilizer.
6 How lighten garden soil? Sow with clover
to be plowed in or use lime, woods
[earthen?] or [scrapings?] [arond?] stable
7 White lilac so tall she has to use a
lasso to get the flowers. If she cuts it
