exibits [exhibits] from nine place. A beautiful
table full of flowers, and, especially
considering the rain, a remarkable
display of fruit and vegetables.

The Secretary reported that she had
found a good many clippings which
had been accumulating for several
years, and suggested making a
horticultural Scrap Book. She was
authorized to puchase a book and
mount the Clippings.

Questions
None of our hostesses had any questions.
Mrs. Massie [Massey] wanted to know whether
if she cut a Weigelia bush to the
ground it would put up. It will.

Cousin Mary Stabler asked if you should
cut the tops of Irises after transplanting.
Some people do, but it is not at all
necessary.

Rhubarb and asparagus are spindling
this year. It was decided that it could
best be attributed to the rain.

Cousin Newton Stabler does not advocate
transplanting roots from one old
asparagus bed. When you set out a
new bed it will pay to buy new roots
