The Maples Aug 4
The July meeting of this Group
was held at Lulworth. Mrs.
Weld and her children giving
us hearty hearty welcome. We assembled
on the gracious porch under
the shelter of the lovely trees.
The meeting was called to order
by the Pres Henry J. Nichols. The
minutes of the June meeting
were accepted with a slight alteration.
Mary Brooke first appointed
reader told of the culture
of dandelions commercially and
had suggestions for roadside
markets. Emma Stabler the second
appointed reader told of garden
furniture different gardens
requiring treatment, and arrangement
suitable to that particular
garden. A new book on Horticulture
wide in scope by her Bailey was
accomodated. No volunteer articles.
