H/4/1934 -4-
after two years of faithful service
and Edith Green graciously accepted
the office of Forethought.
Our Community Council report
failed to reach us at so early
a date and a small meeting of
our special committee was held
as action was asked
regarding delegates selected
for the council for three years.
Mrs. Weld was made our representative
to the council.
Questions
How to get rid of crab grass. No
one knew how it could be done.
Is English Ivy killed. In some
cases, yes, but go slowly in getting rid
of it. It may be only the leaves are gone.
The perennial question of how to treat
asparagus. Salt only beneficial in
destroying weeds. How to make Dahlias
flower. Some could give information
what kind of peas to plant. Early Alaska.
How close to plant peas. Lye or Red pepper
in the run of moles suggested. Best way
to destroy, catch the mole. Can Buciola
be grown here. Not so satisfactory. Do not
plant near cabbage.
Adjourned to The Cedars
May 7th.
