Riverside Aug. 7, 1934
The July meeting of the Horticultural
Society was brought together
at "The Highlands" the afternoon
of July 2, at the usual time of
meeting 4-15 the chairman called
for order. The minutes of the
June meeting at Clermont
were accepted without change.
Mariana reminded the Sec.
the Horticultural family at "The
Highlands" included Robert
H. and Mary Reading N. Miller,
Helen Hallowell added a very
gracious word of welcome to
the young family as members
of this Society.
Lillie Stabler appointed reader had
a wide and instructive article
on Grapes. Grapes are as old in
history as the country itself. They
grow almost all over the world.
Wine making from grapes is
noted from the beginning of history
The uses of grapes are many.
