What ever it is that is boring
into the stems of tomato plants
seems to be a common pest but no
one knows what it was.

Is any one growing Louisiana
iris & is it hard to raise in this
climate bout no one could tell.

Spring is much better than
fall for planting fruit trees, they
can be purchased in the fall, buried
in the ground & planted in the spring.

Trouble with leaf curl on peach trees
is probably caused by aphids for which
a dormant spray of sulphur is good.

Tomato plants that have grown
rather tall in the hot bed, better not
be transplanted but put out in the
ground now.

Apple trees at the Cedars look very
forlorn, no doubt from fire blight.

That has caused the sycamore
trees to loose their leaves. A habit
they have some years but will
most likely put out new growth.

When should broccoli be planted.
Now is a good time.
