H/9/1947-2.

Moletraps are always good horticultural material,
also White's successful rat poison. How about
the "historical" data set forth in the new boys'
school bulletin, or what is on the placque on the
Brookeville White House?

Mr. Hurrey spoke of the beautiful cardinal
flower which he has replanted in his woods.
Members could hardly have a worthier pilgrimage,
than to see it.

Before supper Emmy Hill took pictures of us
as we unconsciously draped ourselves gracefully
around the charming hillside garden. We enjoyed
the little nooks and vistas in the garden, - the
primrose borders, the easy terraces, the rustic
arbors, the fig tree. All these had artistic companionship
with the tiny stream and the half-wild
hill beyond.

Minutes mention group pictures taken. Wouldn't it be wonderful if those pictures survived and were married to the minutes for this year?
