Premier and Midland strawberries are
good varieties. Freeze the Midland. Do not
mulch strawberry plants until after the ground
freezes in the late fall.

Do go visit Mr. Barrett's prize roses at
4709 Brandywine St., N.W. The Harold Stablers
say he welcomes visitors. His rose beds are
manured in very early spring, February or March,
and then not again.

Burpee hybrid tomatoes were recommended
by Mr. Walter Wilson.

Freeze Golden Jubilee peaches..
