Lily B. Stabler read the list of exhibits,
Edward Iddings amaryllis with 25 blooms being
among the most unusual. The Highlands were well
represented by pansies, some 2 1/2 inches in diameter
and a tray of succulent vegetables. "The Porches"
exhibited peonies, "The Cedars". While "Tanglewood's
bowl of roses drew admiration from all as did
the their display of vegetables "Edgewood "had an
assortment of flower and "Hickory Ridge" bought
, The exhibits were so complete that
they made us realize that we arewere on the brink of
summer.
The meeting adjourned to visit the garden
and to enjoy the usual sumptuous repast.
