The meteorologist reported the July temperature as
76 with 2 inches of rainfall.

The exhibits were numerous and varied with Tanglewood's
usual bountiful basket, Harewood, with eleven
vegetables and gorgeous "glads" - the Cedars, Homestone,
Oakly and the Highlands with many vegetables, Edgewood
Alloways flowers and Concord's blackberries made a
splendid display.

The meeting was adjourned to meet in September at
Hickory Ridge with Helen Hallowell and Douglas Farquhar
as readers.
