of old toll houses. This led to a bit
of reminiscing - some remembered local
ones at Sandy Spring, Olney, Ednor and
Colesville. Helen F has recently found and
old bill about toll and will bring it to
the next meeting.

Iris - wants to put in Lycoris ( Resurrection
Lilies) but has had bad luck with
them for 3 years. She was advised to
wait and watch another year before planting
more - maybe more will bloom next year.
Iris seems to be the most avid gardener
in our group at the present time - and
wants to know whether iris leaves
should be cut off after blooming ( some
do, others don't ) Do you put in annuals
seeds in the Fall for next years bloom ( some
do, others don't )
