Put boards under melons. Divide mertensea.
Dig potatoes. Thin late crops. Turn
Cabbage heads if cracking. Plant Brussel
Sprouts, Radishes and Lettuce for Fall crops.
Also Kale and Turnips. Move evergreens.
Use an old Flower sifter to plant seeds.

Climatology.
A.D. Farquhar reported a high of 88° on July
9^th & 10^th. The average high was 82°. 53° was the
lowest on the 13^th, Av. Lo 60°. Only 1.1" rain in
July, falling on 3 days.

Sylvia's question on the love life of the
wren wasn't too satisfactorily answered.
