The regular meeting of the Ladies Aux. to the
Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Dept. was held Oct. 4, 1951.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved.

The following treasurer's report was given:

Balance brought forward - $688.41
Deposits - dues - 2.00
Carnival - 3.00
$693.41
Expenditures - cake boxes - 3.85
Herbert Dailey - painting tables - 23.75
Balance on hand Oct. 1 $665.81

The lighting of this club room is so inferior
it was moved and seconded that Mrs. Ray Davis
see if the firemen agree to our remedying the
situation. If they do she is to purchase larger
bulbs or what ever is necessary to improve the
lighting.

A letter was received from Roland Stabler
thanking each and every committee for their
help at this year's Carnival.

A report was given by Mrs. J. J. Meyer, Jr. as
our Emergency Committee Chairman to the County Aux.
