The regular monthly meeting of the OlneyNorbeck Citizen's Protective Association was called to order by the Pres. Mr. Merton English at the Manor Club Wed. June 26 at 8:15 P.M. Minutes were read and adopted. Mr. Beane that he had had a talk with Mr. Root about the changing of the Rockville road at Norbeck, who feels people would be making a mistake to oppose the straightening of said road at the intersection of main road. The plan for the future is that this road will be direct route to Balto. They plan to leave old road as is & make that entire corner commercial. The new road is to be run by Beach's hatchery connecting with Norwood road. The people have agreed to give the ground. The maps have been made for proposed change. At first the road will be graded & gravelled & later on will be macadamized. The slightest objection will kill the project. We have no further information as to the widening of main road
