She read a lovely poem from Jan
Struthers "A pocketful of Pebbles", "The
American way of life".

Elsie Stabler shared a letter from a
friend who has just had a happy birthday.

Mary Hutton read " This is my own very
native land", and "Ideas are queer- they
won't work unless you do"!

Mrs Iddings read us of chickens & their
likeness to human beings.

Helen Farquhar read us the text of
the Hill Statement, also a poem "Where
is a girl to begin". the lament [?]

Mary Moore Muller, "In what way
is America moving", the ideas of press &
Commentators are ours too often instead
of thinking things throu for ourselves.

Betty Grey. Margaret Jones sent her
love and hopes to be back soon. Betty also
read a story of putting the old American
spirit into action.

Eleanor Webb told of a trip to Lake
Success. She also paid tribute to vitamins
