Letter: Jack Bentley to Cornelia Bentley, April 18, 1919

[Nrback] 1919 Apr. 18 Dearest Mother, We leave here on 21 and that puts us in Brest about the 23. We should leave Brest about the 24th and will probably hit the states around May 1st to 5th. That's as near as I can tell. I will be sent to Camp Meade & will take some 20 odd men with me. It will be only a matter of hours from Meade home & then I'll be free again. Oh boy. if any one should drive up & ask you I'll sure be happy too. I had a fine letter from thee last night. One from Edward Wright, which was welcome. I was sure glad to know that my little sauveneers had come O.K. I remain as ever thine O.K. Jack N. Bentley 1st Lt 125 Infantry
