St. Augustine & put down about
4 or 5 miles above Hawkinsville &
take also two from Volusia.
There seems to be some aprehension
that the leaving of Jacksonville
by the Federals is only a ruse
to get the goods & the steamers
& perhaps all our companie.
A man came today from
Orange Springs I believe who said
that he was captain of a guerilla
companie & that they were shortly
going on an excursion on
Augustine to kill some of
