This is to Certify -

That the bearer hereof
Frederic Wilhelm Steinbeck (now 33 years of age)
is in the employ of Mr. Dickson an American
Citizen residing near Jaffa and that he
is considered under the protection of this
Consulate, so long as he shall continue
in the employ of the said Mr. Dickson or
any of the United States Citizens residing
near the city of Jaffa aforesaid.—
