our late associate, who reported the following which was
unanimously adopted.

Resolution Concerning Rev T.H. Sinex D.D.
I Resolved. That the death of Dr. Sinex the moral &
prudential superintendent of Pacific Grove cannot be re-
garded otherwise than as a great loss to the interests com-
mited to [?] hands to the church of which he was a tried
& tested member & minister, & the familiy which he
leaves behind.

II Resolved. That the [Disintegrity?] in office, ability in admin-
istration, urbanity in frail life & steadfastness in Chris-
tian principle, have lef the Church, the Grove, and the gen-
eral Community richer in the memories which cluster
about and alleviate the sadness of the [event?] which calls
us together.

III. Resolved. That we especially condole with his surviving
wife & other relatives, with whom [are] the grateful [fast]
that he has entered the land "safe from diseases and
decline" cannot wholly alleviate the sense of [lossful]
loneliness which remains to them.
