The Annual Meeting of Pacific
Grove Retreat Association was held at the Grove
June 16, 1903.

Present George Clifford in the Chair, E.R.
Dille, Henry French H.B. Williamson, AL.
Kellogg, Thos Felbeu superintendent.
HE. Williamson led in prayer.
Thos Filbeu was elected secretary protem
in the absence of H.B. Heacock.

Thos Filbeu presented his annual report
as follows.

Brethren
As Superintendent of [your] interests
at Pacific Grove I have little of import to report,
the duties of my position are rather negative
than positive, to prevent doing, rather than to do.
There has been undisturbed administration of
the regulations and restrictions during the year,
no question having arisen nor any conflict
developed. Some questionable matters
are under cover, but action has not seemed
called for in any case. The question of Sunday
observance has been settled in the acquiescence
of all concerned in the ordinance, and we have
